The Process: Your First Steps to Feeling Better

Starting therapy can feel a bit overwhelming, so I want to make it as simple as possible. Here’s a quick guide to what you can expect when we begin our work together.

Step 1: Booking Your First Session

When you're ready, you can book your first session directly through my online calendar. Just choose a time that works for you, and you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details you need.

Step 2: Completing the Paperwork

Before our first session, I'll send you a few forms to fill out online. This paperwork helps us get the most out of our time together by providing me with some important background information.

Step 3: Our First Meeting

This initial session is our chance to meet, and for me to get a full picture of what's bringing you to therapy. We'll dive into your story, your current challenges, and your goals for our work together. This is a space for you to be open, and for me to listen and begin to understand your needs.

Step 4: Beginning Our Work

After the first session, we'll begin our regular weekly meetings. These sessions are your dedicated time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings. We'll work together to identify patterns, build new coping skills, and move you toward a place of peace and clarity.
